Elan Brooks hails from the green state of Vermont and at the age of three moved to South America to the country of Paraguay. At the age of six Elan began playing the drums, skateboarding and experimenting making videos with his father's VHS camera.  At the age of nine Elan began training daily in kickboxing and kung fu one on one with a world champion fighter which helped him develop a strong sense of discipline and self restraint.  At the age of eleven Elan moved again with his family to Africa to live in the country of Namibia where he would continue to skateboard and practice music.  Elan would return to the United States at the age of fourteen to live in Atlanta, GA where he would dedicate almost every waking hour to making skateboard videos on a daily basis.  This level of focus allowed for his skills to grow to a somewhat professional level where then others began to take notice and an assortment opportunities unfolded to work on music videos and television commercials amongst many other forms of media.  After many years of freelancing on many video projects Elan launched the company of Sentry Studios in 2004.  Initially Sentry was partnered with a local Atlanta photography studio to take on higher end clients and learned how to produce professional studio quality videos by implementing proper sound and lighting techniques.  Eventually Elan was able to build out his own studios and attract business from prominent television shows and mainstream productions.  Elan has now written and directed several personal professional projects as well as lunched a podcast in tandem with many other unannounced ventures that will be available on major streaming platforms very soon.
